Full Time Merchandiser DSD Company Carpentersville, IL Job Details Part-time $20 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Customer service Merchandising High school diploma or GED Driver's License Organizational skills Individual consumer customer service Retail sales Full Job Description Part-Time Merchandiser As a Part-Time Grocery Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising and maintaining the appearance of grocery store shelves, ensuring that products are stocked, organized, and visually appealing to customers. You will work closely with store management and team members to execute merchandising plans and strategies, maximize sales and profits, and enhance the overall customer shopping experience. Pay range 20-21/hr, with more depending on previous experience. The area you will service will be the North/Northwest Suburbs.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that stores are stocked with the right types and quantities of products. Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store. Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products. Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake. Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers. Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data. Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and sales reps and account managers. Build displays, maintain end caps, registers, and any other points of interruption.
Requirements:
This fast-paced role requires the ability to perform moderate physical work, such as standing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have a reliable car and valid Drivers License. High school diploma or
GED. 1-2
years of experience working in retail or merchandising preferable, but not absolutely required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be committed to providing outstanding Customer Service.

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
