Job Description
Market Assistant Madre Mushroom is seeking an energetic, dependable Market Assistant to represent our Chicago-based functional mushroom brand at farmers markets and community events. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, embodies a healthy lifestyle, and can confidently share our products and mission with the public. Responsibilities Set up and break down market booths Drive products and equipment to and from markets Offer samples, engage customers, and drive sales Process transactions and maintain inventory Represent the Madre Mushroom brand with professionalism and enthusiasm Requirements Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Weekend availability and willingness to start as early as 5:00 AM Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong communication and customer service skills Sales-oriented, punctual, and self-motivated Experience in farmers markets, retail, food service, or wellness brands is a plus. We value team members who are health-conscious, positive, hardworking, and passionate about supporting a mission-driven small business. Previous farmers market experience a big plus.
