2-hour VOLT Certification (required prior to work - paid training time) Job Summary We are hiring a dependable Retail Merchandiser / Fixture Installer for an ongoing position at a Walmart store location. This role requires hands-on merchandising, fixture installation, and planogram execution. ONLY apply if you can commit to the entire schedule and complete the required 2-hour VOLT Certification course . Retail merchandising, setting, or stocking experience is preferred. SASR will provide two work shirts ; please wear a navy shirt on your first day . What You'll DoMoving & Building Move, install, assemble, and deconstruct merchandise fixtures including gondolas, T-systems, counters, and salesfloor steel (7 ft or shorter) Install basic and complex fixtures, cases, and service areas Remove and install cash wraps and counters as directed Load and unload fixtures efficiently Install basic electronic equipment Use basic hand tools and cordless drills safely and effectively Merchandising & Store Setup Set and maintain planograms accurately Install and profile shelves, peg hooks, and racks Label shelves and merchandise correctly Stock merchandise according to planograms Manage Top Stock and excess inventory Set category displays and end cap features Rotate displays and signage based on promotions or inventory changes Care & Safety Maintain clean fixtures, tools, and work areas Follow safety procedures at all times Occasionally climb ladders Keep workspaces organized and hazard-free Key Responsibilities Arrange merchandise, fixtures, signage, and displays based on provided layouts or sketches Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases Maintain and clean equipment and shelves Collaborate with store managers and associates on product placement Transport materials using appropriate moving equipment What You'll Need Reliable transportation Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing tasks Retail merchandising, setting, or stocking experience (preferred) Ability to read and execute planograms Basic hand tools (drill, mallet, screwdrivers, etc.) Physical ability to lift, move fixtures, and stand for extended periods Important Notes This is an ongoing role , not a one-day project Full schedule commitment is required VOLT Certification (2 hours) must be completed - Paid training Navy shirt required on Day 1 (SASR provides 2 shirts afterward) Apply today if you're dependable, hands-on, and ready for consistent retail merchandising work.
