Merchandise & Event Specialist Unrivaled Teamwear - 3.0 Lenexa, KS Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Decision making Graphic design software Warehouse experience Productivity software Full Job Description Overview The Merchandise & Event Specialist works directly with the Event 1 Merchandise Manager, and Event 1 Event Manger to multitask various roles within Event 1. They will help the Merchandise Manager with the creation of art orders, as well as ensuring that Key Performance Indicators are established and maintained with each of our clients. Along with creation of art only orders, this individual will be the lead individual in developing and directing floor/space plans at select NCAA/Conference Championships. The Merchandise & Event Specialist run 8 to 10 NCAA Championships from start to finish (50 - 100 sites). Within this responsibility, this person will need to manage events from start to finish, which includes but is not limited to loading and unloading trucks and working in a warehouse environment to complete the necessary tasks associated with managing these events. This person will also be responsible for entering orders for all sites, working with production planning to make sure all orders are entered correctly and ship out on time, send all sites paperwork ahead of time, make sure all sites have received all product prior to the event, help place reorders when they are warranted, and receive all completed paperwork back from all sites in the allotted timeframe. This individual will also support the Event 1 team with on-site event management, including key event set-up and teardown, and other various tasks that will pop up through each championship season. Job Responsibilities Quickly learn how to enter orders into the Unrivaled Teamwear system Ensure Key Performance Indicators are established and maintained Designs & implements custom floor plans for each major championship event (i.e. Men's / Women's Final Four or Men's / Women's College World Series) Directs, assist, move and position store fixtures & merchandise at championship events Sets up, Merchandises, and tears down our selling locations at select major championship events Services the NCAA Championships assigned to them to make sure all sites receive all products ahead of time and all ending paperwork is turned in within the allotted time frame. Assist in development of new business opportunities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent years of comparable experience Solid decision-making skills with the ability to influence others Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and at times work in hot and humid conditions Ability to adjust to all of the different responsibilities that will be assigned and not afraid to step in and help Ability to work in a warehouse and accomplish all tasks given to achieve the end goal Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Substantial travel is required and will be gone over weekends and potential Holidays as well.
