Merchandiser-Blarney Castle

The H.T. Hackney Co is a leader in the wholesale industry. We are currently hiring a full time Merchandiser to join our team centered around the St. Joe, MI area. This individual would be responsible for merchandising Blarney Castle convenience stores mainly in the St. Joe, MI area, but should be available to travel throughout Michigan. Overnight stays average about 5-6 times per month and are required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual would be responsible for setting and tagging product in existing accounts, utilizing planograms to market product, and ensuring that the merchandise is displayed and rotated properly. Store locations will vary each day based on retailers' remodel/reset schedules. Work may also consist of moving product on shelves, moving and cleaning shelves, replacing tags, and working product to shelves according to the designated sections of the planograms. This position will be working individually and also in a team.

SCHEDULE

The schedule will consist of Mon-Fri. Start time varies depending on customer location and end time will be approx. 4pm or until work is done. Must be willing to stay out of town as needed. The position also requires the individual to come to Grand Rapids, MI once a month or quarterly for sales meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated and a self-starter. Must be able to work well on your own and with others. Must display a professional attitude and appearance. Must be able to read and follow a planogram in order to execute resets efficiently. Must be able to travel. Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 70 lbs. Must be detailed and organized. Good driving record required. Company vehicle provided after 90 days for merchandising use. Full benefit package available after 90 days. Great company to work for!
