Full Job Description Job Summary:
Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store.
Essential Functions:
Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction. Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution. Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards. Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction. Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality. Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine. Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
