Spirit Shop Coordinator Position Type:

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Spirit Store Manager oversees the daily operations, merchandising, and growth of the school's spirit store. This role is responsible for inventory management, online sales, vendor relationships, marketing, and design creation to ensure the store reflects school pride while meeting revenue goals. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and project management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory & Operations Management Manage all inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and stock organization Monitor sales trends and anticipate product demand Proactively place orders within vendor lead times to ensure timely delivery Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies Maintain organized storage and visual merchandising standards Vendor Relations & Purchasing Research and partner with approved vendors to source quality merchandise Negotiate pricing, minimums, and turnaround timelines Manage purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery Communicate clearly regarding artwork approvals, production, and shipping timelines Design & Product Development Create original apparel and merchandise designs aligned with brand standards Collaborate with school leadership and athletics for special event merchandise Stay current on trends in school spirit wear and retail merchandising Website & E-Commerce Management Maintain and update the spirit store website Upload new products, manage pricing, and ensure accurate product descriptions Monitor online orders and coordinate fulfillment Track online sales performance and adjust offerings accordingly Marketing & Social Media Develop and manage social media content promoting new arrivals and promotions Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special event promotions Create engaging graphics and content to increase visibility and sales Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Process invoices and manage vendor billing Track expenses and revenue Provide regular sales and inventory reports to leadership Ensure compliance with school purchasing policies
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in retail management, merchandising, or small business operations preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Experience with inventory systems and e-commerce platforms Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools preferred) Social media management experience Ability to work independently and anticipate needs Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods during sales events Ability to reach overhead and climb a ladder
