Job Description

  • Merchandiser
  • PeopleReady of Springfield, MO is now hiring Merchandisers!
The Merchandiser will be responsible for setting product, ensuring placement; servicing, troubleshooting/repairing, and cleaning products; collecting and reporting detailed inventory data; and moving product from the stock room to the sales floor. You will also work closely with retail associates and managers informing them of new product launches, promotions, and procedures Apply today and you could start as soon as this week.

  • _The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour
  • _ •What you'll be doing as a
Merchandiser :
  • + Comfortable working with minimal supervision + Must be able to complete visits with verbal and/or written instructions.
+ Must be available for regular communication; primarily via email and telephone with supervisor. + Set product, perform resets, inventory counts, and move product from stock room to sales floor. + Build relationships with store personnel in order to achieve the goals of this program. + Work assigned daytime store visit schedule + Receive feedback and suggestions on shelf and display allocation decisions by store management + Communicate with store management and associates consistently to build relationships + Conduct store visits according to the designated frequency + Displays a professional demeanor while representing the client and our company + Stocking shelves and assist with Displays

  • Job requirements:
  • + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Experience in grocery, c-store, or related field + Extensive knowledge of products + Able to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel + Works independently with little supervision + Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning any new industry specific software + Attention to detail and organized + Proof of Insurability, Class B license preferred, and a clean driving record + Experience in grocery, c-store, or related field + High school education or GED + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer + Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility + Must be able to lift up to 56lbs + Valid Drivers license, insurance, and clean driving record + Reliable vehicle required •Ready to take control of the way you work?
