Designer/Visual Merchandiser/Retail Stylist (Luxury Home Décor Boutique)

Position Overview:

We are a luxury home décor boutique seeking a highly skilled Designer/Visual Merchandiser/Retail Stylist to curate an elevated in-store experience. This role is responsible for translating our brand aesthetic into refined, cohesive displays that inspire customers and reflect a high standard of design. The ideal candidate has a sophisticated eye, strong styling instincts, and the ability to execute with precision and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and execute elevated visual merchandising and seasonal installations Maintain a polished, cohesive store environment aligned with brand standards Style product displays that reflect a luxury, editorial aesthetic Continuously refine floor layout and product placement to enhance flow and drive sales Create and assemble boutique items (including bows, wreaths and custom décor) with exceptional attention to detail Collaborate with ownership on creative direction, product storytelling, and brand presentation Ensure all areas of the store are impeccably maintained at all times

Qualifications:

A deep understanding of color theory, texture, scale, and spatial composition is essential. A heightened design sensibility, coupled with a keen eye for fine details and finishing touches, is crucial. Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and execute independently. Highly organized with strong time-management skills. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Preferred experience includes interior design, retail sales, or visual merchandising in luxury or high-end retail environments. Strong proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and the Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. Additional skills in social media marketing strategies, merchandising plans, Node.js (for digital integration), or advanced illustration are a huge plus but not mandatory.
