The Opportunity We are looking for a Pearl Product Merchandiser who understands the nuance of the pearl market and can build a product assortment that wins. This role is central to shaping how China Pearl shows up in the market-what we carry, how we present it, and how we compete. You will have direct influence over product direction, assortment strategy, and category growth. What You'll Own Build and manage the pearl jewelry assortment across key channels Analyze sales performance, inventory, and pricing within the pearl category Partner with sourcing teams on product development and selection Identify gaps and opportunities across pearl types, qualities, and price points Develop assortments that align with customer demand and market trends Support sales teams with product knowledge, presentations, and tools Monitor competitive positioning and adjust strategy accordingly What We're Looking For Experience in jewelry merchandising, with strong exposure to pearls preferred Solid understanding of pearl types, grading, and sourcing dynamics Strong analytical and assortment planning skills Ability to balance product, pricing, and inventory effectively Detail-oriented with strong commercial instincts Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Why This Role Stands Out Direct impact on building a scaled pearl platform within a major U.S. jewelry company Access to sourcing, production, and distribution capabilities at scale Opportunity to shape and grow a category with significant upside High visibility role within a growth-focused division Work Environment Fully onsite•5 days per week in Secaucus, NJ Collaborative, execution-driven environment How to Apply Candidates with strong merchandising experience and a focus on pearls are encouraged to apply with a resume outlining relevant product and category expertise.
