Job Description
Position Summary Join our dynamic team as a New Product Coordinator and be at the forefront of innovative product development! The New Product Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, launch, and lifecycle of new products. This role works cross-functionally with teams such as product development, marketing, operations, and sales to ensure new products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with company goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including supporting in-person events and conventions. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and track all phases of new product development from concept to launch Maintain product development timelines, calendars, and project documentation Act as a liaison between internal teams (design, marketing, operations, sales) to ensure alignment and communication Assist with product briefs, specifications, and updates to internal systems Monitor project milestones and proactively flag delays or risks Support product testing, quality checks, and feedback collection Collaborate with marketing on product launch materials, including descriptions, assets, and timelines Ensure all product data (SKUs, pricing, descriptions) is accurate and up to date Assist in inventory planning and coordination with supply chain or vendors Participate in post-launch reviews and help track product performance Convention & Event Support Coordinate product selection, inventory, and logistics for events Track product performance and customer feedback during conventions Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure event readiness (materials, displays, staffing, etc.) Travel to conventions and events as needed Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in product coordination, project management, merchandising, event coordination, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets strongly preferred) Experience with project management tools Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Willingness and ability to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends for events Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products Experience supporting conventions, trade shows, or live events Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems Basic understanding of inventory, supply chain, or merchandising processes Work Environment & Expectations Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Combination of office, warehouse, and on-site event work Requires occasional travel and weekend/evening availability for conventions and events Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to stand for long periods during events
