We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team and support product management, inventory planning, customer communications, and order fulfillment. Position Overview The Merchandiser will support the sales and merchandising teams by managing product information, inventory levels, order tracking, customer requests, and showroom activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple departments. Responsibilities Maintain inventory records and provide weekly inventory updates. Follow up with buyers and buyer assistants regarding open issues and outstanding requests. Coordinate, organize, and ship product samples to customers and prospective accounts. Create, update, and maintain line sheets and merchandising materials. Review incoming orders, taking into consideration inventory levels, delivery dates, and fulfillment requirements. Work closely with internal departments to maximize fill rates and ensure on-time shipment of orders. Communicate inventory availability and provide estimated arrival dates for out-of-stock items. Maintain showroom organization and assist with customer presentations and meetings. Manage product databases, including style creation, updates, and booking maintenance. Enter and maintain sales orders accurately and efficiently. Generate weekly open-order reports and analyze order status. Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools. Analyze market trends and seasonal opportunities to support merchandising initiatives. Assist with assortment planning and product lifecycle management. Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, sales support, product development, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and execution abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable learning and utilizing company-specific software systems. Understanding of retail math, inventory management, and merchandising concepts. Fashion, home textile, or home furnishings industry experience is required. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Previous internship experience or up to 2 years of related experience preferred.
