Job Description
Overview Full-Time Retail Merchandiser (Monday through Friday, Dayshift) Summit Services Unlimited, Inc. Rochester, NY Join a Growing Merchandising Team Summit Services Unlimited, Inc. is a growing merchandising company supporting a major upscale national grocery retailer across multiple states. We specialize in in-store merchandising, resets, and product placement, helping ensure shelves are accurate and organized. We are a team-oriented organization that values reliability, attention to detail, and strong performance. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in executing tasks with precision, this is a strong opportunity for consistent, part-time work. Schedule Full-time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $18.00- $19.00 per hour 401(k) with percentage match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Spending accounts Paid time off Mileage reimbursement Paid training and ongoing support Referral bonus program Annual performance review Healthy work/life balance What You will Do Execute plan-o-grams to ensure accurate product placement Reset product sections Cut-in new items and remove discontinued products Ensure products are properly tagged and displayed Maintain key departments such as spices and cosmetics, including stocking and backstock organization Identify and report issues such as missing signage, incorrect pricing, or unsafe conditions Assist with local store remodels and special merchandising projects Travel between assigned store locations may be required Work Environment & Expectations Work independently or with a team across multiple retail store locations Role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts Assignments may take place in different store departments (including spices and cosmetics) Strong attention to detail and consistency is critical to success Reliable attendance is essential due to scheduled store work Qualifications Previous retail merchandising experience preferred Familiarity with plan-o-grams Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and customer service skills How Success is Measured Accurate execution of plan-o-grams and resets Timely completion of assigned projects and store visits Proper placement of new items and removal of discontinued products Store presentation standards and compliance Communication and teamwork with managers and store staff Career Growth As a growing organization, Summit Services Unlimited offers opportunities for developing talent and promoting from within the company.
