Are you looking for an internship where you can utilize your newly acquired education, skills, and experience to help get your career started? Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice. The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 16-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Fall 2026 dates: August 17 - December 4. Our program offers competitive pay, hands-on learning experiences, company exposure to senior leaders, and professional development opportunities. Spend your fall driving projects, refining your professional skills, working along industry leaders, and connecting with other students from across the country. Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status). Minimum Open to all majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0 Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status) Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work Desired Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization Managing multiple priorities between school, work or extra-curricular activities Responds to change as a positive challenge Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Significant level of multi-tasking Any professional/internship experience in a business-related field Any specialized skillsets in any of the following areas: Contract Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Merchandising or CPG experience Complete a 16 week program in a merchandising department working with a team to gain an understanding of the corporate merchandising function. Responsible for positively impacting Kroger's business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects. Assist Merchandising group to achieve department goals and objectives Complete specific internship assignments in a timely manner with the assistance of department managers Communicate status updates and any potential issues to appropriate team members Support Merchandising department and assist with activities of assigned department(s) including, but not limited to, end-to-end assortment, financials, analysis, and overall category strategy Interpret data trends and apply own knowledge to inform business decisions Participate and provide feedback at team meetings Complete cumulative internship project (summary of accomplishments) and present to Merchandising leadership team Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
