We are seeking a Merchandiser to support our growing team and play a key role in executing merchandising programs for key client accounts. The Merchandiser is responsible for sourcing, quoting, and execution of merchandise initiatives while helping drive the success and growth of assigned accounts. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Merchandising Manager, helping guide merchandising strategy, manage complex projects, and ensure exceptional service delivery. In addition to managing day-to-day account activity, the Merchandiser collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams including creative services, operations, and logistics to ensure programs are executed efficiently and meet client expectations. What You'll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sourcing, researching, and quoting merchandise for assigned client programs. Develop merchandising recommendations that align with client branding, marketing goals, and budgets. Create client presentations, merchandise proposals, and supporting materials. Manage the end-to-end order process including purchase orders, production coordination, and delivery timelines. Review and approve artwork proofs, samples, and pre-production materials. Monitor order progress and collaborate with logistics teams to ensure accurate and on-time delivery. Maintain and update vendor and product databases to ensure accuracy and product availability. Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing a deep understanding of account needs and goals. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding merchandising programs. Support the Merchandising Manager on larger initiatives, complex programs, and departmental process improvements.
Required Skills:
Strong merchandising, sourcing, and product development knowledge. Excellent client relationship and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Customer-service focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years of merchandising, promotional products, or client account management experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Communications, or a related field preferred. Experience managing client accounts and coordinating cross-functional teams preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
