The candidate' s preferred category of buying and experience will be in the General Merchandise/Consumer Goods category . You will be working in our North East Ohio offices ,but some travel maybe required . This position requires knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook and Excel and must have excellent organization skills . Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Individual must be detail oriented and able to handle a multi faceted environment within a fast pace office with a professional and confident attitude. Responsibilities To find and finish deals acquiring consumer goods at the right price point A bargain hunter who can find various types or lines of consumer goods Someone who has many contacts and relationships with vendors of consumer goods ,along with working with ones we have already established . Work with the Sales team to understand what types of goods and price points our customers are looking for . Take ownership of goods you acquire and work with all departments in the company throughout the process to ensure your buys are a success . Some travel to tradeshows,vendors and possibly retailers will be a part of your toolbox. Working with and enhancing our approach to finding consumer goods To be able to collaborate with other buyers on various lines or offerings of goods .
