Merchandising Associate Job Summary A Merchandising Associate is responsible for supporting product presentation, inventory management, and sales performance within a retail or wholesale environment. This role helps ensure products are properly displayed, stocked, priced, and promoted to maximize customer satisfaction and company revenue. Key Responsibilities Organize and maintain attractive product displays according to company standards Restock shelves and ensure merchandise availability Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overstock situations Assist with pricing updates, promotions, and seasonal merchandising changes Track sales trends and customer preferences Ensure store cleanliness and visual appeal Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and management teams Assist customers with locating products and answering questions Conduct regular inventory counts and audits Follow company policies regarding merchandising and safety procedures Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and visual presentation Basic math and inventory skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and customer service abilities Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed Preferred Qualities Team-oriented attitude Problem-solving skills Flexibility with work schedules, including weekends and holidays Familiarity with inventory or POS systems Typical Work Environment Retail stores Supermarkets Fashion or department stores Warehouses or distribution centers

Pay:

$22.20 - $26.74 per hour
