Job Description
We are seeking a Merchandise Planner to support international digital and retail growth initiatives across multiple product categories. This role will focus on sales planning, inventory optimization, forecasting, assortment planning, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with experience managing inventory and merchandise planning within a retail or ecommerce environment. Key Responsibilities Manage sales plans and inventory levels for digital and retail channels. Analyze sales, inventory, and assortment performance to identify growth opportunities. Partner with merchandising teams on assortment planning, product launches, and markdown strategies. Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to optimize sell-through and minimize markdown exposure. Support monthly and weekly planning processes, reporting, and business reviews. Collaborate with logistics, forecasting, and deployment teams to ensure inventory alignment. Develop inventory projections and support distribution center planning activities. Provide actionable recommendations based on sales trends, inventory performance, and market conditions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory planning, deployment, forecasting, finance, or logistics. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and statistical analysis capabilities. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications Retail, ecommerce, apparel, fashion, or consumer products experience. Experience supporting international business operations. Exposure to merchandise allocation or inventory deployment functions. Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy. Familiarity with forecasting and supply chain planning processes. #PSI3
