Seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Racquets Shop Merchandiser to deliver a high-end, member-focused retail experience. This role supports the Director of Racquets in the daily operations of the shop, including merchandising, inventory management, and member engagement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in curating an elevated and dynamic retail environment for both tennis and pickleball players. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver exceptional, personalized service to members and guests, creating a welcoming and elevated retail experience Develop a strong understanding of racquets, apparel, accessories, and current trends in tennis and pickleball Build relationships with members to understand preferences and recommend tailored merchandise Execute visually compelling merchandising strategies to maintain an organized and engaging shop environment Support inventory operations including purchasing, receiving, pricing, and restocking merchandise Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering to ensure product availability Track and evaluate product performance to inform merchandising decisions Support marketing efforts by contributing to newsletters and social media content featuring new merchandise Partner with the Director of Racquets to align retail strategy with Club events Assist with events and daily shop operations alongside the Racquets Shop Coordinator Maintain a consistent presence on the shop floor to engage with members and support day-to-day needs The Racquets Shop Administrator's hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. He/she relies on Jonas (POS system) and Clubessential (website software) to accomplish his/her tasks, so - while those particular applications can be learned - the successful candidate must be proficient and comfortable using a computer. This is an hourly-paid, overtime eligible position. Starting pay will be a base hourly rate of $21.00.
