Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Merchandise Team Leader for our Aerie brand, where you will lead and inspire a passionate group of associates to deliver exceptional retail experiences. In this energetic role, you will oversee merchandise presentation, inventory management, and sales strategies to ensure our store remains vibrant, organized, and aligned with brand standards. Your leadership will drive sales growth, foster a positive shopping environment, and develop your team's skills in visual merchandising, customer service, and retail operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the merchandise team to execute visual standards, planograms, and layout designs that enhance the customer experience Manage inventory control processes including stock replenishment, inventory management, and shrink reduction strategies Oversee pricing strategies and promotional displays to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining brand consistency Develop staff through coaching on retail math, cash handling, customer service excellence, and organizational skills Utilize tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to create compelling visual designs and layouts Coordinate with marketing teams to implement branding initiatives that resonate with target audiences across multilingual markets Ensure compliance with safety protocols and store policies while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or merchandising leadership with strong knowledge of visual design principles and layout design techniques Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with merchandising tools such as planograms and inventory management systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across diverse markets; multilingual abilities are a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of retail math concepts including pricing strategies and sales analysis Experience in interior design or illustration is advantageous but not required Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while providing outstanding customer service Join us as a Merchandise Team Leader—where your energy fuels our success!
