This energetic role involves installing a variety of backyard products, including decks, patios, fencing, and landscaping features, ensuring each project exceeds customer expectations. You'll work hands-on with tools and materials, transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Responsibilities Install backyard products such as decks, fences, patios, and landscaping features with precision and care. Read and interpret schematics, planograms, and interior design plans to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Collaborate closely with customers to understand their vision and provide expert guidance on product choices and layout options. Manage inventory control by organizing tools, materials, and supplies efficiently on-site. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout all installation projects. Assist in store merchandising efforts by setting up displays that highlight outdoor products effectively. Provide training and development support for new team members on installation techniques and safety protocols. Experience Supervising experience in retail or remodeling environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design presentations is a plus. Experience in marketing or branding to effectively promote outdoor product offerings. Multilingual skills to communicate with diverse customer bases are advantageous. Proven ability in remodeling or interior design projects enhances your fit for this role. Background in retail sales, customer service, or store management demonstrates leadership and organizational skills. Familiarity with POS systems, pricing strategies, merchandising standards, inventory management, and retail math ensures smooth daily operations.
