Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchant to join our Merchandising team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our VP of Business Development and VP of Merchandising to support product assortment strategies, drive sales growth, and execute key merchandising objectives across our Fashion Bedding categories. You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Product Management, and Content teams to bring compelling products to market, track industry trends, and help identify new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate has a passion for product and design, strong analytical instincts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Some travel to New York required (~20 days/year). Core Responsibilities Optimize Assortment Strategy — Work with the VP of Merchandising to optimize assortment strategy and drive business results for E&E's Fashion Bedding categories for key accounts. Market & Trend Analysis — Track industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences while identifying white space opportunities to drive future growth. Market Development — Partner with the VP Bedding Merchant, Design, and PM teams to develop JLA market beds twice a year, recapping previous market and current selling data to inform new strategies. Presentation & Market Prep — Prepare comprehensive market presentations including industry research, global initiatives impacting our industry, photo presentations, and market recaps. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred Previous experience in merchandising or buying for retail or manufacturing Retail or wholesale background in home textiles a plus, but not required Passion for product and design, with the ability to give direction supported by a combination of data and intuition Comfortable and proficient with AI tools and reporting Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work efficiently Strong collaboration with cross functional partners Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or merchandising roles within a retail or e-commerce environment. Strong understanding of vendor management, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
