Providence, RI Job Details $17 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Full Job Description Ira Green, Inc. is seeking a merchandiser to join our field team at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan . This role typically requires 2-8 hours per week , with the higher hours expected during Ball season (September-November) . This position works as part of a merchandising team supporting Marine Corps Exchange locations. We contract independent, detail-oriented professionals with strong communication skills to represent our programs worldwide. This is a flexible 1099 contract role , with hours primarily on weekdays and a self-directed schedule aligned to store demands.

From our state-of-the-art facilities Providence RI, Buena Vista, VA and Bally, PA, we employ over 300 employees who manufacture and distribute the uniform items, tactical gear, coins, and accoutrements earned and displayed proudly by our military personnel. We have a strong team of field sales representatives serving our military bases on site with full support from our corporate in Providence, RI. Job Overview The ideal candidate will support a positive shopping experience by ensuring OEC insignia products are properly displayed and inventory is accurately maintained. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills with store management and partner merchandisers, and a basic understanding of Marine Corps uniforms and insignia. Responsibilities Execute visual merchandising strategies to create appealing product displays that align with brand standards Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting assigned inventory counts Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that arise Collaborate with store leadership to implement promotional displays and sales strategies. Follow Base regulations at all times and retain a professional appearance and attitude. Skills Strong communication, time management skills Base access (Must REAL ID Compliant) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers Leadership abilities to work collaboratively with team members and store management Attention to detail and organizational skills Military spouses encouraged to apply - volunteer experience a plus Occasionally be able to lift up to 50lbs
