Sagebrook Home, LLC has an immediate opening at our Summerville, SC facility. We are staffing a Sample Coordinator for Sagebrook Home, a décor/furniture wholesale company in Summerville, SC. Position Title Sample Coordinator Position Summary The Sample Coordinator oversees the organization, tracking, and movement of product samples for showroom presentations and merchant review processes. This role ensures samples are received, cataloged, distributed, maintained, and returned accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Track and manage all incoming and outgoing product samples for showroom presentations and merchant reviews.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including sample status, location, and timelines.
  • Coordinate sample requests among merchandising, sales, design, and showroom teams.
  • Prepare samples for merchant meetings, presentations, photo shoots, and showroom displays.
  • Ensure samples are labeled, organized, and presentation-ready at all times.
  • Monitor sample due dates and follow up with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams on outstanding items.
  • Coordinate the shipping, receipt, and return of product samples.
  • Maintain showroom sample organization and visual standards, and provide packing lists and shipment summaries to the showroom team.
  • Regularly update tracking spreadsheets, databases, and sample management systems.
  • Support seasonal setup, product launches, and showroom resets as needed.
  • Communicate sample availability and timelines to cross-functional teams, and partner with the warehouse on storage location and organization.
  • Identify and resolve sample discrepancies, missing items, and damaged products.
  • Use inventory systems such as Microsoft Navision and standard business tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and related software. Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in sample coordination, merchandising support, showroom operations, or administrative coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in retail, fashion, furniture, home décor, or product merchandising is preferred. Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of sample operations and merchandising processes.
  • Experience coordinating product samples across multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and logistics coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Resourceful, persistent, and solution-oriented. Work Environment
  • Fast-paced office environment with regular coordination across warehouse and merchant teams.
  • May require lifting, moving, and organizing product samples and related materials.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred, but not required.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
