This role will be responsible for increasing sales and profit through all activities associated with MISS A merchandising, including but not limited to inventory management, layout creation, product allocation, and monitoring execution of store merchandising. the ideal candidate will have a creative eye, and the ability to build strong relationships with Operations, Inventory, and Store teams, 80% of their time will be spent working at the HQ office, and 20% will be visiting stores to ensure all merchandising direction follows Company Standards. Job Duties
- Work directly with the Design and Purchasing teams to forecast customer demand, manage supplier capacity, and lead times.
- Coordinate all visual merchandising needs for roll outs to support the vison set forth by the Company, including but not limited to :creating merchandising guidelines and directives, details for fixture orders, procuring samples ,etc.
- Drive store efficiency through monitoring condition maintenance and enforcing adherence to Company standards and deadlines.
- Create, update, and distribute to Store leadership: roll outs of new products, floorplan changed, fixture layouts, visual displays, etc.
- Effectively manage and educate store teams on visual merchandising stands and execution.
- Communicate product performance observations and offer feedback to HQ and Store leadership
- Support development and distribution of merchandising communication and tools for seasonal direction, presentation standards, weekly checklist, etc. Partner with Operations and Inventory teams on miscellaneous needs, including but not limited to : deliveries and transfers, product count discrepancies, training and development, etc. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail merchandising for corporate office.
- Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising or related filed preferred.
- Must be proficient in planogramming.
- Ability to collaborate with others to achieve results.
- Possess good Project Management, Commutation, Organizational, and Collaborative skills.
- Have a sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize conflicting demands. Must be able to travel to stores locations as needed . While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Prolonged long periods of sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer.
- Store visits - must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time .
- Travel may include overnight stays
- Lift no less than 15-30 lbs. on occasion.
