JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for conducting sales transactions with Guests in a variety of indoor and outdoor Merchandise locations throughout Universal Kids Resort property. Responsible for upholding Universal Kids Resort's Guest Service standards, interacting positively with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner, upselling featured items as noted for each location and maintaining the cleanliness of work locations including the replenishment of inventory and supplies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide an interactive Guest experience by selling select merchandise throughout the resort, welcoming Guests and thanking them upon exit. Generate excitement and interest in offerings with Guest interactions, theming, sharing information and utilizing spieling techniques to create a fun and inviting environment. Communicate with the management team to enhance the Guest and Team Member experience. Actively demonstrate product knowledge and utilize suggestive selling techniques to encourage offerings to each Guest. Process merchandise sales and returns, wrap and bag merchandise; handle credit card transactions, gift cards, and discounts (where applicable). Stock merchandise at multiple locations, optimizing usage of stockrooms and shelving space, keeping stockrooms clean and organized. Perform periodic item cycle counts as assigned. Process damaged product by removing from location and filling out proper paperwork. Assist with merchandise drop off processes for hotel Guests by securing merchandise and delivering to hotel Front Office team for Guest pick up. Maintain sales floor and outdoor cart appearance standards by cleaning floor surface, dusting counters and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes and/or cleaning agents. Assists with projects, initiatives and sustainment efforts as directed. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE
