Our team values innovation, teamwork, and a passion for excellence in everything we do. Overview We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the key player in ensuring our products are visually appealing, well-stocked, and effectively promoted across retail locations. Your creativity and organizational skills will help us maintain a strong brand presence and deliver an outstanding shopping experience. Duties Execute in-store merchandising strategies to promote salami, prosciutto, and related charcuterie products. Support new product launches and promotional initiatives. Build and maintain attractive, well-stocked displays that align with brand standards and seasonal promotions. Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO), freshness, and adherence to food safety guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store managers and internal teams to prevent out-of-stocks. Set up promotional displays, sampling events, and cross-merchandising opportunities (e.g., pairing with cheeses, crackers, and wines). Conduct regular store visits within assigned territory and document merchandising activities and sales insights. Develop and maintain strong relationships with deli managers, grocery managers, and store personnel. Provide feedback on product performance, competitive activity, and customer preferences. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of merchandising, retail, or food industry experience (specialty or deli experience a plus). Strong understanding of grocery store operations and merchandising principles. Knowledge of charcuterie products, including cured meats, is highly preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for store visits Preferred Skills Experience working with perishable food items. Basic data reporting or familiarity with sales tracking tools. Creative eye for display building and product presentation. Work Environment Field-based role within grocery retail locations. Frequent travel within assigned territory. Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends for demos or promotions.
