Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Food Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following assigned routes efficiently. Pick up orders from restaurants or warehouses, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of food items. Load and unload deliveries using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary. Deliver orders directly to customers' doors while providing friendly and professional service. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required. Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any route issues. Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred. Ability to operate box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques. Warehouse experience or familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong physical stamina for moving heavy items and performing manual lifting tasks safely. Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local roads; ability to adapt to changing routes quickly.
