We have experience in bottling milk the old school way with old school practices using today's technology. U.S. 1836
Farms operates in a 39,500 square foot facility located just outside of Dallas in Terrell, TX. Our Sales Reps/Merchandiser are responsible for maximizing revenue through developing relationship with dairy managers, grocery managers, and store directors. These should then drive 1836 Farms towards the best chance for maximum sales. Some of those are related to in store positioning, allowing 1836 Farms the use of marketing materials, and overall getting those in the store to become our brand and product ambassadors. This position serves as a key member of the Sales and Marketing management team. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the current sales, lead generation, and new sales generation. This is a demanding role that requires planning, superb execution in a fast-paced challenging environment, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
He / She
will be responsible for a territory or cluster of stores across multiple chains and will be held accountable for lead generation, overall sales, case fill rate monitoring, credits or buy backs management and merchandizing of product.
He / She
will be capable of managing numerous priorities simultaneously, with a "hands on" approach and style.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit stores to develop, nurture, and maintain repour and good relationship with dairy managers, grocery managers, and store directors. Position 1836 Farms as a premium product in the fluid milk space and edge out the competition to maximize sales. Overall territory responsibility will be for approximately 100 stores and he/she will be required to visit most of these stores every week. This position will be the first person many of our customers will meet. You must make a positive first impression and understand that the customer comes first. Develop, nurture, and maintain repour and good relationship with dairy managers, grocery managers, and store directors. Ensure that most stores are visited on a weekly basis At minimum visit all stores once per week Ensure that product is stocked and presented appropriately on store shelves. Ensure that product on store shelves follows remaining shelf-life policies In the event the above is not being complied with take action immediately and engage adequate store personal On an as needed basis he/she will be merchandizing the product Ensure that store orders are correct/adequate to maximize display space In certain instances, he/she will be required to enter Sales Orders on behalf of our customers Communicate all sales promotions, new items, and item changes with stores Give samples out at stores and other community events Help transportation department with order execution In some instances, you may be requested to retrieve or get POD for hot shot deliveries Quickly resolve any problems that arise with stores or customers to those stores Take responsibility/ownership for all interactions with stores in assigned territory Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude as a representative of the company Participate in strategic special projects such as: Participates on Microsoft Business Central design teams and leads site installation effort for new system Lead efforts to grow sales via generation of leads, and any other marketing initiatives. Assist in Customer Service and Customer Order Processing functions on an as needed basis
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge
