Sample Coordinator Lindon, UT Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Computer operation Spanish Microsoft Excel Maintaining an organized workspace Packing Inventory management Labeling Computer literacy Basic math English Assembly Food preparation Packaging (food) Freight Research & development Transportation documentation for distribution operations Entry level Order fulfillment Full Job Description Job Purpose CandyCo LLC, a Lindon, UT manufacturer of chocolates, caramels, and confections, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Sample Coordinator with an eye for accuracy and presentation to help prepare product samples and sample shipments. Duties and Responsibilities Manage daily shipments by following a shipment request form to fulfill requested samples. Select the most ideal samples and pack for most impressive presentation. Pack shipments appropriately for safe transport. Ensure packaged shipments are assembled on time for freight companies to pick up. Prepare required documents for national and international shipments Properly label, store, and organize product samples to preserve freshness and quality. Maintain inventory of items needed to complete sample requests. Maintain an orderly work environment. Help design thank you or congratulations care packages. Assist the R D team in creation of product samples (scale ingredients, help make confections). Assist with other projects, on the bench, plant floor, or in office as needed. Qualifications Passion for presentation (making products look good). Reliable and accurate execution of tasks. Comfortable juggling busy list of priorities and asking clarifying questions. Ability to follow directions & recipes. Basic computer and mathematical skills including data and spreadsheet management and weight and measurement conversions. Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel Food preparation experience preferred Be able to consume wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and milk The role requires the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing Bilingual Preferred (Spanish) Working Conditions Must be able to work any/all shifts as assigned or required Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including Holidays and/or weekends as required Physical Requirements Preshift stretch and exercises to be performed Hair restraint, beard net (if needed), and Safety gloves where warranted Ability to work in food allergen areas (nuts, dairy, egg, etc.). Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time and move for most of the day. Required to lift 30lbs.
Position requires the ability to:
stand, sit at a desk, walking around the facility, lifting and carrying up t0 50-LBS assisted, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting Direct Reports None
