Job Description

Smugglers' Notch Distillery Tasting Experience Educator Enhance our world class reputation as one of the top distillery tasting room experiences in the U.S. with your special people skills and passion for helping others to learn about and enjoy our award winning spirits. Overview We're seeking a part-time go-getter to add your engaging personality, individual initiative, accountability, and love of connecting with people to ensure an outstanding event experience for our customers. You will be pivotal in educating visitors about our processes and story and connecting them with our extraordinary spirits. About Smugglers' Notch Distillery Founded as a father/son partnership, Smugglers' Notch Distillery has incorporated the Vermont mountain spirit in its journey to develop distinctive and delicious offerings. Launching a Double Gold Award-Winning Vodka back in 2010 was the start; SND has grown organically since then and has gone on to craft multiple gold and silver medal award-winning spirits. Four Vermont Tasting Rooms engage visitors with the SND story and the development of their spirits and delicious barrel aged maple syrups. Core Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner Educate customers about our company, our products and conduct sales in store/fairs/tastings/events Follow Standard Operating Procedures for markets Follow protocols as given for all other events Keep Records Merchandise (new items, replacement) Carry out other duties as assigned Key Qualifications A positive customer and high-quality focus Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of POS systems and the retail environment Communication and team skills Ability to lift 40 lbs.
