General Beverage Sales Co., and General Beer Distributors, (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. We proudly employ 900 employees across the State of Wisconsin. Our mission is to be the trusted distributor partner of our suppliers and customers in order to advance our collective beverage business and support the growth of our family of employees. General Beer Distributors-Madison has the perfect position for someone who is looking to make extra money. and start a rewarding career with GB. Saturdays and Sundays only! This position requires supporting the Sales Consultant in efforts to increase overall sales. This is accomplished by stocking shelves, building displays, and rotating products. Requirements:
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures. Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor toward others. Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal. Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one's conduct. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day. Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend. Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and lift test.
