Position Summary The Senior Manager, Merchandising Integration plays a critical role in transforming our Retail organization by translating complex financial data into clear insights and actionable strategies. This leader partners across Merchandising, Finance, Digital, Analytics, Marketing, and Supply Chain to enable informed decision-making and accelerate execution of Front Store initiatives. This role requires a strong ability to influence without direct authority, build compelling narratives, and lead end-to-end transformation efforts. The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen with strategic thinking, process development experience, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment in a dynamic retail environment. Success in this role will depend on strong listening skills to identify key business pain points, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships that unlock measurable impact for both colleagues and customers. Key Responsibilities Drive Results Through Data Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations Provide proactive financial reporting and analysis to support business objectives Monitor key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities (short- and long-term) Enable data-driven decision-making across cross-functional teams Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and refine agile planning processes to support evolving business needs Evaluate strategic initiatives and KPI performance against organizational goals Navigate ambiguity and prioritize effectively to deliver results Define clear milestones, timelines, and accountability structures Influence & Change Leadership Act as a change agent, driving transformation initiatives across the organization Identify and remove implementation barriers through collaboration and problem-solving Influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership (VP/SVP) Build and deliver clear, compelling narratives to guide decision-making Champion innovative ideas while balancing growth, risk, and cost considerations Collaboration & Relationship Building Establish strong, trusted partnerships across Merchandising, Finance, Digital, Analytics, Marketing, and Supply Chain Foster alignment and cross-functional connectivity to improve business outcomes Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability People Leadership & Culture Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards Foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture Support organizational well-being and team effectiveness Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or financial modeling 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, competitive environment (e.g., retail, finance, consulting, healthcare, pharmaceuticals) Proven track record of influencing stakeholders with and without direct authority Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and deliver impactful solutions Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills Experience working within merchandising or similar business models Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to travel approximately 10-25% as needed Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience Experience managing large teams or leading significant business units Strong cross-functional leadership across diverse business areas Background in consulting and/or business development Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent preferred) Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
