• Full-time Director of Merchandising We are seeking a Director of Merchandising to lead our company's initiatives for 3 home furnishing brands, Ashley (TN/WV/VA/OH/KY), Star Furniture & Mattress (WV), and Zak's Home (TN).

The Director of Merchandising will lead our buying efforts for all three brands. This includes working with our existing vendor network of over 60 of today's best brands as well as finding the next strong partner of tomorrow. This role will also supervisor our Visual Manager and team to ensure the instore visual execution represents all three brands well.

Location:

Tri-Cities, TN area or Morgantown/Clarksburg, WV area. This is not a remote position. These two markets are the central locations for our full line brands and therefore will require the role to be based in one of the two.

Salary:

$110,000 + (based on experience). Bonuses available as overall company exceeds goals.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday and as needed for travel, events, and corporate meeting. This is a senior level role, so availability is required to be flexible as company needs change.

Travel Flexibility:

Ability to travel to furniture markets in Las Vegas, NV and High Point, NC. Ability to travel to showrooms in TN, WV, VA, OH, KY, and surrounding states on occasion.

Qualifications Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in

Senior Leadership Multi-Unit Management:

Proven experience in multi-unit management, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple locations effectively. Strong ability to inspire and guide teams with a focus on collaboration and communication.

Lead Buyer:

Must be proficient analyzing sales data and market trends to drive merchandising strategies.

• Visual Merchandising, preferably within the home furnishings industry. Creative vision with a keen eye for design and deep understanding of current trends and visual merchandising. Ability to manage multiple projects while executing quickly and efficiently. Implement best practices that elevate brand presentation and customer engagement.

Technical Skills:

Fluent in Microsoft products such as the 365 suite.

Pay:

$110,000.00 per year
