OBJECTIVE

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for overall effectiveness of the Merchandising Department. Working in tandem with the Merchandising Supervisor on all hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the team. Additionally, the role has responsibility for

POS:

consistent reporting to make sure the sales team and managers have the most up to date and accurate inventory. This position also oversees the distribution of sample products and distribution. This position must always uphold Lipman Brothers' image, mission, and culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandising Management:

Participate in interview process for merchandiser positions. Co-owns, with Merchandising Supervisors, the training and preparedness of merchandiser to execute their responsibilities as prescribed in Merchandisers Handbook. In absence of Merchandising Supervisor, track and approve hourly employees' payroll hours. Ensure department stays on budget, including overtime hours. Track and approve PTO. Perform quarterly employee review with Merchandising Supervisors and merchandisers Performance vs. expectations, highlight areas they excel, and areas of development needed. Work with Merchandising Supervisors to plan daily, weekly, and monthly schedule for the Merchandising team. Management and execution of incentives and programing for merchandising team Manages implementation of our supplier's brand standards in the market. Manage the execution of Consumer Events. Ensure their team adheres to industry regulations and company policies. Responsible for working with all divisions of sales: Beer, Spirits, Wine, Non-Alc, Riedel Crystal, and Cigars, to ensure best in class execution of team/duties in market. POS Management Ensure daily execution of product/POS delivery to all retail accounts as scheduled. Coordinating POS programming with Sales Managers Facilitate donation request/pick-ups. Communicate to proper division managers when new POS arrives. Communicate with division heads on low stock POS items. Coordinate distribution/execution of requested POS with Merchandising Supervisors and Merchandisers Proficient in Permatracs.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3 years' experience managing people. Strong leadership and consensus building skills. Must be a self-starter and highly organized. Must be able to problem solve and trouble shoot when needed.

Computer skills:

Literacy with Microsoft Office, Windows based computer applications, and web-based applications. Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creativity. This position will be needed to occasionally work nights and weekends. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
