AMX Trucking — Maintenance Database Specialist

Overview AMX Trucking is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Database Specialist to manage and maintain our fleet management software. This is a specialized administrative role focused on data integrity, asset tracking, and maintenance recordkeeping across our entire fleet.

Responsibilities Work Order Management :

Create, route, and close work orders while ensuring mechanics accurately record repair times and parts used.

Asset Lifecycle Tracking :

Set up and maintain vehicle profiles including VINs, warranty details, purchase dates, and component serial numbers.

Parts & Inventory Management :

Track spare parts inventory, process purchase orders, update stock levels, and reconcile vendor invoices with repair records.

Data Auditing & Reporting :

Generate weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators such as fleet uptime, total cost of ownership per unit, and technician efficiency.

Vendor & Inventory Integration :

Maintain parts catalog data from vendors and manage automated reorder points for critical components including brake pads, filters, and fluids.

Data Compliance:

Handle the intake and ongoing maintenance of large datasets to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Support Leadership:

By providing analytics that inform strategic decisions related to fleet reliability, cost control, and maintenance scheduling.
