Part-Time Tractor/Equipment Parts Advisor

Kubota of Harrison is a leading provider of Kubota-branded equipment and machinery for sale and rental, serving the agricultural and construction needs of the Harrison community. We are currently looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team on a Part-Time basis. Position Summary In this role, you will be a key contributor to our store's success by managing the selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers and a vital support system for our service department, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities Customer Assistance & Communication:

Engage with customers daily, providing trustworthy equipment advice and ensuring positive interactions through clear, professional communication.

Leadership & Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support fellow team members and demonstrate personal leadership in all daily tasks.

Sales & Metrics Mindedness:

Proactively recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience while contributing to store sales goals and performance metrics.

Inventory Management & Store Operations:

Restock merchandise, maintain an organized showroom/warehouse, and follow proper Point of Sale (POS) procedures and loss prevention policies to ensure sound financial management.

Process Orientation & Safety Compliance:

Utilize structured company processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and maintain departmental tools and vehicles in good working order.

Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date on equipment parts, tools, and current promotions through active use of Kubota's internal systems and training modules.

Experience, Education, and Skills Technical Knowledge:

Previous experience with parts and machinery; ability to use VitalEdge/CDK parts catalog applications is a plus.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills with a "customer-first" mentality.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift.

Computer Skills:

Basic data entry and keyboarding skills.

Education:

High School diploma plus equivalent experience.

Certifications:

A forklift license is preferred.

Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Schedule & Hours Status:

Part-Time (Minimum of ~25 hours per week).

General Monday-Saturday availability is required within the following windows: Monday•

8:00 AM•5:00

PM Saturday:
