Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a seamless experience for our customers between the warehouse, other parts department personnel, and service department.
  • Assist customers with selecting parts, suggesting related parts, offering specials, and ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Communicate through variety of mediums (in person, by phone, computer, etc.).
  • Safely operate machinery such as forklifts.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
  • Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process. Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers.
  • Handle parts payment collection at point of sale and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department.
  • Order parts as needed; keep customers updated on status; notify customers and/or service immediately when parts arrives.
  • Replenish assigned inventory daily. Advise manager when areas of the department are not in satisfactory condition.
  • Assist with warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in point of contact sales.
  • General understanding of industrial equipment.
  • Customer service experience, excellent phone etiquette, & professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks thoroughly and accurately.
  • Ability to proficiently navigate through websites and look up parts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and perform requirements of warehouse responsibilities in safe and alert manner.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance and work in a safe and alert manner.
