Our Machine Shop Assistant's support production by preparing materials and processing semi-finished production parts. We provide on-the-job training on equipment, tools and production workflow. Full Time

What You'll Do:
Post-machining processing of parts, including use of processing equipment to clean and debur parts, hand tools for final cleaning of parts and general inspection of parts for good quality. Fill, Empty, and sort parts from small tumble and vibratory deburring machines. Bead blast parts and prep for outside finishing. Cut raw materials on a band saw. Deburr cut materials on belt sander. Assistance with shop maintenance
Qualifications We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED. Good mechanical skills, including experience with work tools such as micrometers, calipers, gage pins, rulers, computers. Reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude. Detail oriented to handle small parts in large quantities. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to repetitively lift 30+ pounds. Willingness to learn and improve skills constantly.
