Parts Associate

Job Description Chrisp Company, specializing in the highway improvement construction industry for over 40 years is seeking a Parts Assistant for our Fremont, California shop.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Order all parts and issue purchase orders for mechanics and fabrication Receive parts and verify that the received parts agrees to the purchase order Create parts tags and tag all parts after being received Maintain a cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy Track slow moving parts Completing quarterly inventory Process RTA paperwork for the accounting department. Create service kits for mechanics Pick up parts from various vendors when needed Update mileage and hours weekly Place parts in the appropriate areas within the parts room. Ensure the parts room remains clean and well-organized. Housekeeping Ensure the cleanliness, housekeeping, safety, and maintenance of the maintenance shop through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs in compliance with safety and facility coordinators. Make sure all hazardous waste barrels are up to date and in compliance. RTA Input all key information into RTA Fleet Management Software Attend RTA training classes Safety Observe and report on any safety issues. Maintain a zero-tolerance policy Ensure safety policy is followed while working in the shop and parts room If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy challenges, and want to be a part of a great company, we want you!

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
