The successful candidate will be responsible for parts receiving and returns, and maintaining a well-organized parts room, enabling the efficient flow of vehicles through all stages of repair.
THE ROLE
The Parts Coordinator is a central role in the repair process and responsible for ordering, dispatching and organizing the parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
Participating actively in daily production meetings Ordering replacements parts Receiving and mirror matching parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan Enter parts and sublet invoices in software, and confirm profit margins Coordinate with technicians and shop staff for each vehicles progress from arrival to delivery Maintaining and organizing parts carts, staging areas and parts area Delivering parts to technicians and parts carts as required Ensuring returns are promptly issued from vendors Maintain professional and positive vendor relationships Requirements Minimum 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Auto industry experience preferred Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered Solid organizational skills Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to multiple software platforms Strong verbal, written and listening skills in English Spanish language is a bonus Valid driver's license Ability to pass a motor vehicle background check Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to work 8-5 Monday to Friday.
