Responsibilities:
Manage incoming customer requests, including parts clarification and request routing to the proper personnel (Includes Shared Inbox Customer Handling) Responds to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, to include acknowledgement of original inquiry within 4 hours and confirmation of inquiry within 24-hours. (email, phone, portal, etc.) Efficiently creates & communicates offers within ERP & online via customer portals Efficiently processes RFQs (within ERP & online via customer portals) as well returns/warranties Work with engineering to establish part/component identification. Create new part numbers in ERP Communicates with outside suppliers to obtain pricing, lead-times, etc. Enters customer information into online portals and initiates new customer account set up. Interface with the parts warehouse and/or GEA factories on internal purchase orders and deliveries, including expedited processing for urgent requests. And other tasks as assigned by manager Your profile and qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or a related field is preferred. 3+ years related experience in performing order processing and inside sales to demanding industrial customers required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of industrial refrigeration industry Knowledge of accounting principles Basic knowledge of E-Commerce platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented / strong organizational skills Well-developed interpersonal skills Ability to work as an individual and within a team The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $31.92

90 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
