Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and organized Inventory / Parts Specialist to support maintenance operations within an airport environment. This role is responsible for managing parts inventory, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring materials are available to support repair and preventative maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory including min/max levels and cycle counts Order parts and follow up with vendors on quotes, orders, and delivery timelines Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parts room Track and process materials within a CMMS system Verify incoming shipments, check part numbers, and resolve discrepancies Support workflow processes to ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams Operate company vehicles to pick up parts within the airport area Assist with operating equipment such as forklifts (training available if needed) Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license (ability to operate a small company vehicle) Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or materials purchasing Experience with data entry, work order tracking, or scheduling Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to obtain clearance to work in secure airport areas Preferred Qualifications Experience in an airport or aviation environment Forklift certification (or willingness to be trained) Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Experience with maintenance tracking systems or CMMS Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Comfortable working around equipment and in an active environment Work Environment Airport operational setting with vehicle traffic and equipment movement Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and industrial elements Safety-focused environment requiring adherence to established protocols #IND1 #ZRSimilar jobs in Westchester, CA
