Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and accurately Provide expert advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures to support customer decisions Manage inventory control, stock stocking, and order fulfillment to maintain optimal product availability Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts with precision and professionalism Maintain organized records using inventory management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Excel for tracking parts and sales data Engage in upselling and marketing efforts to promote relevant products and services, enhancing overall sales performance Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, ensuring clear information exchange and excellent service delivery Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments within the automotive parts industry Strong knowledge of automotive repair, automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases Proficiency with inventory management systems, Reynolds & Reynolds, and retail math for accurate transactions and stock control Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with dealership operations, marketing strategies, and sales management is highly desirable Ability to handle cash accurately, perform cashiering duties, and maintain professional phone etiquette at all times Join us as an Auto Parts Counterperson where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
