Parts Counter Salesperson

Essential and Primary Duties include:

Receives and fills parts requests for customers both in person and via the telephone Helps customers with their specific needs Fills customer orders from stock using a computerized system Follows all company and vendor policies and procedures Receives payment, makes proper change, and wrap or bag merchandize for customer. Advises customer on substation or modification of part when replacement is not available Examines returned part to determine if defective, exchanges part or refunds money Participates in rolling inventory checks Takes inventory of stock and presents an accurate count to the Parts Manager Responds to request for service and assistance Keeps Parts room clean and free of clutter. Greets all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the Store and begin each work day with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

Previous Parts experience Computer proficiency is required Team oriented and driven to provide a high level of customer service Very good interpersonal skills to work with customers in person and over the phone Bilingual -Spanish (Required) Physical ability to lift 15-50 lbs
