Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Parts Specialist and become a vital contributor to delivering exceptional automotive service and customer satisfaction. In this energetic role, you will leverage your automotive knowledge to assist customers in finding the right parts, manage inventory efficiently, and support vehicle maintenance and repair operations. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and service will drive positive interactions, ensuring every customer leaves with the solutions they need. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail sales, inventory management, and automotive diagnostics within a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on auto parts and accessories tailored to their vehicle needs Assist customers with vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting issues, and recommending appropriate parts or services Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment using inventory management systems like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments with professionalism Support automotive repair and maintenance activities by preparing parts for service appointments and ensuring timely availability of components Utilize strong communication skills to negotiate prices, explain product features, and promote additional services or accessories Maintain organized workspaces, ensure proper stocking procedures, and uphold safety standards across the store environment Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or dealership environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using retail math principles Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting tasks Exceptional communication skills coupled with phone etiquette to assist customers both in person and over the phone Ability to handle sales management tasks including cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations accurately Familiarity with dealership sales processes, marketing strategies, and POS systems enhances your effectiveness in this role Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
