ATC, Inc. - Cedar Rapids, IA $18.00 - $25.00 per hour + $1/hr 2nd shift differential |
We are looking for a dependable and organized Parts Advisor to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our technicians, service department, and customers by making sure the right parts are sourced, ordered, received, and ready when needed.
If you have experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, trailer, equipment, dealership, or parts counter work, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Assist technicians and service staff with identifying, locating, and ordering parts. Look up parts using catalogs, vendor systems, VINs, part numbers, and equipment information. Communicate with vendors to check pricing, availability, and delivery times. Receive, inspect, label, stock, and organize incoming parts. Maintain accurate inventory records and help manage stock levels. Process parts orders, returns, cores, warranties, and credits. Help keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient. Prepare parts quotes and assist customers as needed. Work closely with the service team to reduce delays and keep repairs moving. What We're Looking For Previous parts, automotive, truck, trailer, equipment, or dealership experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Good computer and data-entry skills. Ability to identify parts using vendor systems, catalogs, and part numbers. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment. Able to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule & Pay Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience. 2ndShift Differential:
Additional $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift. 1stShift:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday. 2ndShift:
3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday-Friday. Full-time position with steady hours.
