About Us Graham Collision is a trusted, family-owned collision repair center proudly serving the Greater Des Moines area for over 50 years. We're known for high-quality repairs, top-tier customer service, and a team-focused environment. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Parts Specialist to join our team and help keep our repair operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards in parts management and customer satisfaction. Position Overview The Parts Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely ordering and management of automotive parts for our collision repair technicians. This person will manage inventory, maintain vendor relationships, and support the repair workflow through precise parts handling and communication. Responsibilities Order OEM and aftermarket parts according to repair estimates and technician needs Receive, inspect, and organize all incoming parts Verify part accuracy and condition before distribution Maintain inventory levels and keep storage areas clean and organized Return or exchange incorrect or damaged parts with vendors Communicate with estimators, technicians, vendors, and the front office to ensure timely repairs Track parts status in the management system and update repair orders as needed Assist with supplemental parts needs and adjustments Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners Qualifications Prior experience in automotive parts, collision repair, or a related field preferred but not required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic automotive knowledge (parts and systems) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift and move automotive parts as needed Familiarity with shop management or estimating systems a plus
