This position serves as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal team members. The ideal candidate will have previous construction equipment industry experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview As our Parts / Counter Associate, you will work closely with company leadership, shop mechanics, customers, and vendors to create processes and support daily operations. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (approximately 50 hours per week) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors Answer and direct multi-line phone calls Schedule and coordinate equipment rentals Take reservations and establish customer accounts Process orders, invoices, payments, and related documentation Order parts and supplies from vendors Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate purchases Manage and track inventory levels Assist with equipment and truck inventory management Perform accurate data entry and recordkeeping Support shop operations as needed Assist with loading and unloading equipment when necessary Perform general administrative and office duties Qualifications Previous construction equipment experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers Proficiency with computers and office software Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift 50+ pounds Spanish-speaking skills are a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience, industry knowledge, and education Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays 100% Employer-Paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities Supportive team environment If you are a motivated professional with a "can-do" attitude and a desire to contribute to a successful team, we encourage you to apply.
