Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Duty Truck Parts Counter Specialist, where you will be the vital link between customers and our extensive inventory of truck parts and accessories. This energetic role offers the opportunity to leverage your automotive knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and sales expertise to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. You'll be at the forefront of helping fleet operators, mechanics, and individual truck owners keep their vehicles on the road efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct heavy-duty truck parts and accessories through expert product knowledge and active listening. Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Provide technical guidance on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures to help customers make informed decisions. Handle sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures. Maintain organized shelving and stockroom areas by stocking parts, conducting regular audits, and ensuring proper labeling for easy retrieval. Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, parts delivery, and vehicle maintenance scheduling. Deliver exceptional customer service via phone etiquette, in-person interactions, and multilingual communication skills to serve diverse clientele effectively. Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance specific to heavy-duty trucks. Excellent negotiation skills combined with retail sales experience to close deals confidently while building long-term customer relationships. Proficiency in inventory management tools such as CMMS or similar software; experience with POS systems is preferred. Familiarity with dealership experience or retail math to accurately handle sales transactions and inventory control tasks. Solid organizational skills for stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
